What does Acupuncture do?

Acupuncture treats pain by stimulating the bodies nervous system by inserting acupuncture needles in key points at varying depth on the body.

Stimulation of these key areas releases chemicals into the muscles, spinal cord, and brain. These biochemical changes  stimulate the body's natural healing abilities and promote physical and emotional well-being.

What does Acupuncture treat?

Insomnia, anxiety, headaches, back pain, arthritis, headaches, chronic pain, chronic fatigue syndrome, respiratory disorders, skin problems, Dysmenorrhea, allergies, nervous and digestive disorders.

What kind of Acupuncture we practice?

Traditional Chinese Medical (TCM) Acupuncture, Contemporary Acupuncture and Sports Science Acupuncture. TCM acupuncture developed in the 1950's in China with the emphasis on Western science and Eastern health traditions. TCM is an evolving medical system that relies on evidence based treatments.

Auricular (ear) Acupuncture - stimulation of points on the external surface of the ear, for both diagnosis and treatment of health conditions throughout the body.  Stimulating a point on the ear, the brain sends a direct signal to that area of the body to alleviate pain and other symptoms.

Electro Acupuncture Medicine (EAM)- electrode attached to the acupuncture needle, using electrical stimulation to constantly stimulate near by nerves that send signals to the brain to release natural pain relievers, and other chemicals and hormones to the targeted areas of the body.

Dāo Needle Therapy (Neurofascial needling)- Dāo Needle Therapy is a revolutionary acupuncture technique that consistently eliminates scar tissue and stubborn pain. Dāo Needle Therapy utilizes a special style of acupuncture needle and a variety of diagnostic tools to bridge the gap between Chinese Meridian Therapy and the musculoskeletal chain.
